Welcome to Second Stage Finance, where my purpose and innate desire to help people thrive has materialized into a company that makes financial freedom, education, and planning, possible for everyone.  

A little about me; my name is Rochelle Coleman.  I’ve had the pleasure over the course of my professional journey to ensure that regardless of my role, my goal is always to help people.  My experience spans across different industries.  I’ve been a professional basketball player, the owner of a basketball training business, the Director of Global Programs for an International NGO, and an Associate Director for a Philanthropic Consulting Firm.  In every role, I have felt most aligned with my purpose when I have helped empower others to understand that their success is in their hands based on educating themselves, discipline and consistency.  I’ve served as a resource, a coach, providing strategies and tools to help people realize their own potential.

Second Stage Finance was birthed out of a need, a need for me to improve the landscape and viability of my personal finances.   I realized that I needed to understand what was really happening with my money and how I could make decisions that would transform the trajectory of my current and future life. I educated myself and gained the knowledge to transform my own finances.  Improving my financial literacy yielded great rewards for me including a 40% savings rate in addition to utilizing high yield savings & retirement accounts.  Not only did I improve my finances but I gained the confidence and control once I fully grasped financial implications.  If I can do it, so can you!

 Now as an Accredited Financial Counselor candidate, I support my clients in the same way that I scuba dive.  While scuba diving, a diver has two regulators: their first stage, or "main" regulator, and a second stage, or a "back up". The second stage is used if the diver has issues with the main regulator.  If your dive buddy has problems with their regulator, you share your second stage to help them breathe so they can return to the surface.

We are your backup, your Second Stage.

We help you swim back to the surface so you can breathe and effectively manage your finances. We take you to the surface and equip you to live the life you envision.
